Yes. We have a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies, including an Apartment Pak ($100 under prices offered by others).
“On-site” manager means that an employee, usually the Store Manager, has an apartment on-site as part of the facility.
American Storage has climate-controlled inside units with access through hallways and we do offer both moving carts and appliance carts free of charge to our customers.
American Storage does have video surveillance of the property. Cameras are located at the point of entry and exit and other areas around the facility.
American Storage has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.
Our climate-controlled units maintain a temperature of 55 to 85 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.
Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.
American Storage includes a cylinder lock, free of charge with our administrative fee. You can also purchase a new disc lock at our location – just off I-25 and Woodmen Road.
Yes. American Storage offers parking for RVs, boats, cars, motorcycles, and collectible autos.
American Storage has the most convenient office hours of any facility in Colorado Springs. Our office is open 8am to 5:30pm on weekdays, and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays.

The gate hours are when your unit can be accessed. Our gate hours are 5am to 10pm, seven days a week. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask your Store Manager for information about 24-hour access.
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead. Book a reservation on-line today for a $10 discount on your initial cost.
American Storage takes great pride in protecting your belongings and strives to provide state-of-the-art security. We feature electronic gate with coded access, monitored video surveillance, fenced and well-lit facilities. We also work with the Colorado Springs Police Department for periodic monitoring of the property. Finally, we have on-site personnel who patrol the facility after business hours.
